Welcome to the St. Kitts & Nevis Customs and Excise Department website. The Customs Department manages the security and integrity of our country's borders. We cooperate in the fight against illegal activities with local, regional and international agencies to detect and deter unlawful movement of goods, people, vessel and aircraft across the border.
Customs has always provided the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis with an efficient revenue collection service. Over the years, duties and taxes collected by Customs have become a significant source of revenue for the Federation. In addition to being a major revenue collecting department, it is also the nation's primary border enforcement agency.
The Customs and Excise Department falls under the direction of the Ministry of Finance headed by The Hon. Dr Denzil L. Douglas.
